Let’s cook!

2020 is crazy right? Since we’re all stuck at home and grocery stores are barren, I’m helping folks like you put together some super satistfying meals using basic ingredients and some fun fancy chef tricks. Classes max out at 10 so sign up quick to reserve your spot!

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

  • Sign Up by clicking on one of the available classes

  • Download Zoom (if you haven’t, it’s super easy!)

  • Keep your eyes peeled for an email containing the link to our Zoom “meeting” plus the ingredients and any prep work you may have to do before the class. (ex: let dough rise)

  • When it’s time for class, click on the Zoom link that was sent and Zoom should prompt you to join with Camera and Microphone. Voila! You’re ready to cook with us.

The Experience

DANIELLE HARRIS / PITA & KOFKA CLASS
”As a person who loves cooking, cooking classes and drinking wine with friends, the idea of doing all of this over Zoom after 4 weeks of social distancing was fascinating. I’d used Zoom for work and know sometimes big groups can get awkward, especially with people I’ve never met before, and so I wondered if this would actually be fun or, nearly impossible. The finding? Now in week 6 of stay at home orders, it’s the most fun I’ve had socializing in 6 weeks! And I’ve tried it all. It’s also the very best cooking class I’ve ever taken. People were respectful and cool, took turns talking, we learned how to work with what we had vs fret over perfection, and we all successfully made pita and kofka in what felt like no time! Being able to cook in your own kitchen with your own tools is a huge benefit to online cooking classes vs traditional in-person classes. I plan to take these as long as they’re available. Pandemic, or not.”
